Ginny and the Diamonds

There was a very poor girl named Ginny. She worked very hard but she just never had enough money because of an evil queen that was always taking all the money she earned. The Queen was hated by everyone and had no other family; even her servants and guards hated the queen.

After a particularly hard day of work she decided that she should get some rest. Since she didn't have a bed she went looking for somewhere to sleep. She found a nice place in a barn with some hay and a couple of pigs.

The next day she woke up with her back hurting. She went through the hay to see if she could make it softer. She found something shinny and hard. Ginny stared at it in disbelief; it was a diamond. She put it back into the hay.

Again after her work she she looked for somewhere to sleep. She decided not the hay but tonight she would sleep by the protection of a tree. She sat down and fell asleep. She woke up with her back feeling sore again. She dug up some dirt and again found something shinny and hard. Yet again, it was a diamond.

The next few nights she found diamonds where she slept by the creek, near the well, on the side of the small hill, and by the castles edge.

The next day the queen was out for a stroll and couldn't get into her castle without paying the guards who blocked the doors there in diamonds. She passed the barn, the trees, the creek, the hill, and went even farther from the castle's edge. So, instead she went to one of the peasants homes's and demanded a bed.

Ginny went and collected all the diamonds. She paid the guards. They let her in and she ruled instead of the mean queen. Ginny was a fair and good Queen and got a very nice sleep for the rest of her life.
