If you ever plan to visit Petra, you
will see that it is breath-taking and why it was named one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
Petra,
meaning "rock" in Greek, is a famous place in Jordan. It is a "rose-red city" carved in rock made about it the 6th century B.C.E.It's
technical name is Rekem, which is mentioned in the Dead Sea Scrolls
(to read more about this, click here.)
It is thought that the Nabataeans Arabs (na-bah-tea-ins) once occupied Petra, but the creator is unknown (to learn more about them, click here).
This is Nina and her brother Adam on a Camel in Petra,

The walls in the path leading up to the Treasury.

The caves where the (thought to be) Nabataeans
Arabs (na-bah-tea-ins)
