Each year on January 15 we celebrate a man that had a dream in 1963 at the Lincoln Memorial that all African American men & women will be free.

He never got to see his dream come true as in 1968 he was shot & killed.

The holiday is celebrated on his birthday.

We celebrate his mental and emotional strength to get through his life in which African-Americans were not welome.
