Christmas is a very fun time of year.

It usually starts with putting up the tree. Some people have artificial trees; some a real tree. Picking out just the right tree is usually a family thing.

Stores start advertising Christmas as the end of October, right after Halloween, and kids just keep getting more and more excited.

The way you celebrate Christmas is just fun. You get presents, see the rest of your family and have a nice dinner.

One of the favorite parts of Christmas is getting presents from Santa. Thats what every kid waits for.

On Chrismas eve, people like to go to Church late at night. Some people like to go at midnight so when you get home, you get your presents. You celebrate with a nice dinner with your family and get to play games with them.

Another great tradition is when the cousins pick out cards out of the hat and then whoever they get they have to buy them a present.

Some families do something called a white elephant. You find a stupid gift and someone tells a story. Every sentence has the word "right" or "left." At the end of the story whatever present they get is the present they get to keep.
