One of the most common greenhouse gasses that we can take steps to prevent, is carbon dioxide. Known as CO2 on the chemical table, it can be found anywhere, as it is the main cause of global warming in the world. One way it is created, is by people breathing! Simple breathing turns life-giving oxygen into deadly carbon dioxide. There are many ways carbon dioxide is sent into the air. Power plants, which give us electricity, create 40% of the world's carbon dioxide amount. Cars, which we use to travel a lot, make 20% of carbon dioxide which is killing our planet. Many of our luxuries are creating global warming! Another reason that global warming is happening, is the destruction of trees and plants. Trees and plants make oxygen from carbon dioxide, reducing carbon dioxide, and increasing oxygen. The more trees there are, the more oxygen there is, the less carbon dioxide there is, and the less global warming there is. So, those are the main reasons for global Warming. One
of the main causes of global warming is the greenhouse gasses in the
atmosphere that contain and radiate solar energy back to Earth, slowly
warming it. Because of an overwhelming buildup in these gasses, the atmosphere
contains more energy, causing a buildup in heat that will, if it continues
without stopping, destroy all life on Earth as we know it.
